Tax Manager's position at a $1+ Billion international HQ
JOB DESCRIPTIONDESCRIPTION: Industry leading manufacturer has an immediate need for a Division Tax Manager. This position has high visibility within the company. You should be a strong Tax Strategist and will drive the Tax strategy for a $ 1 Billion+ organization. This position is part of the Strategic Executive Leadership Team of the Division. You should enjoy dealing with colleagues throughout the global organization. You will focus on providing value to the organization through tax expertise. You will also interface with the Financial Services Group, lending tax expertise and perspective to tax lobbying functions.
REQUIREMENTS: BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. An MBA or MS-Tax is preferred. A CPA certification is preferred. You should have 7+ years of relevant tax experience - preferably with a BIG 4, Regional Public Accounting firm, or a large global company. You should have extensive experience in accounting for income taxes, knowledgeable with respect to the drivers of the Effective Tax Rate, and have the proven ability to reduce the effective tax rate through planning initiatives. Your experience should range to cover US, Mexican & Canadian Taxes, Sub-chapter C, employment taxes, compensation related issues, tax accounting methods, M&A, and transfer pricing. This is a global industry leader that defines the term " Blue-Chip" organization. The Division Tax Manager's position has a base salary of $75-90k + Bonus + benefit and retirement programs. Relocation benefits as needed.
