Job Description:
Responsible for management and review of a portfolio of investments. Investments focus in construction, energy, real-estate and tax credits. The Asset Manager will perform review of audits and financial statements to assess investment quality and risk, and maintain relationships with general partners and developers in investments. Completes site inspections and meetings with partners to ensure program compliance and asset quality. Responsible for review of equity transmittal forms and documentation. Prepares equity payments and advance requests, monitors construction disbursements. Apprises supervisor, credit administration and other appropriate parties of ongoing asset quality performance; completes review of workouts and dispositions and may give work direction to Assistant Asset Managers.
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience - Four to seven+ years of commercial lending, construction, real estate or tax credit investment industry experience
Preferred Qualifications: Thorough understanding of tax credit investment management - Thorough knowledge of construction finance, legal documentation and requirements, real estate property management, and accounting - Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - Highly motivated, able to work independently, and possesses acute attention to detail - General real estate background preferred
