Job Description:
• Assist in strategic planning for the holding company and business units, including, performing and/or coordinating analysis of the external strategic environment and relevant internal strategic considerations, and the development of appropriate long term plans. • Assist on corporate development projects (e.g., organic growth, asset development, joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, etc.) to help execute the long-term strategies, including all phases of project and transaction work (e.g., origination, evaluation, negotiation, diligence, etc.). • Assist in providing support to existing business units on strategic growth initiatives and other projects. • Assist in providing support to the corporate innovation group re: the development of new/emerging businesses. • Assist in developing/reviewing business cases and valuation models, to help ensure a consistent, rigorous approach to the analysis of strategic opportunities across the organization. • Assist on other analyses or projects at the request of senior executives. • Help in supporting executives and managers across the organization regarding their strategic initiatives, including specific input on their business cases, modeling assumptions, and overall assessment, based on corporate and/or business unit strategy. o Conducting capital market and M&A market analyses (cost of capital, precedent transactions, trading values, etc.)
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Strong Communication and Presentation Skills 2+ years relevant financial and business analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications: MBA Strongly Preferred Exposure to planning, M&A, or similar projects
