USA based corporation with worldwide operations in 35+ countries in Europe, Far East, and Western Hemisphere. Located in New Haven County, this role will be part of the CFO’s team and will be liaison to taxes, treasury, FP&A, and legal. Company has plans to acquire additional businesses and expand global presence. Consecutively 2009, 2010, and 2011 were record setting years for revenues and profits. Looking for promotable talent. Challenging setting due to growth. Diverse and multi-tasking role requiring strong communication, project management, prioritization, and analytical skills. Be the center of the international universe to work through regarding international SBUs, transfer pricing and legal entities. Experience required and involvement will include: • Be on front end of strategy and onboarding of finance policies and practices for future global expansion • Support worldwide SBUs on expense recognition and allocations issues and compliance to P/Ls for product families and countries. • Partner with tax and treasury on transfer pricing and intercompany transactions • Enhance the financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting capacities to measure profitability and cost sharing for intercompany transactions and joint ventures. • Perform reviews of accounting and results of legal entities on a monthly basis. • Partner on acquisition, merger, and JV opportunities that will impact international operations. • Contribute on international tax structuring related to acquisitions or reorganizations. • Enhance processes and efficiencies to support international accounting treatments. • Review all intercompany billings between legal entities and ensure appropriate documentation. • Conduct annual cost allocation analysis by cost/profit center. • Review and maintain global intercompany contracts to ensure accuracy of all accounting transactions. • Train international operations on accounting topics.


BS Accounting or Finance; pluses are CPA; MBA or MS Taxation. Seek 7+ years of business experience that includes 4+ years contributing on international financial reporting, accounting research, process enhancements, and compliance for transfer pricing, intercompany accounting, cost/expense allocation, revenue recognition, and profitability measurement. Any experience with HFM, Oracle, SAP, or JDE is a plus.
