Job Description:
Must have a passion for the following: • Managing and performing special projects and strategic and tactical tax planning • Analyzing work processes, and making recommendations to improve work flow within the department • Managing staff selection, development, and retention, including the establishment and monitoring of goals and objectives for staff members • Managing and reviewing multi-state income tax returns and quarterly estimated tax payments • Managing and reviewing use tax returns, annual property tax returns, and quarterly and state income tax provisions for financial statements • Coordinating state and local tax audits and defense of positions taken on tax returns
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: • Bachelors degree in Accounting • At least 7 years state and local tax experience, and 2 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role • Demonstrated experience preparing consolidated tax returns • Effective communications skills, both verbal and written
