| Our client, a leading global investment bank located in New York City, seeks an experienced accounting professional to be controller for one of their bank entities. The hired candidate will have the opportunity to join a new and growing area of the firm’s business and with this, must be an independent self-starter who can provide complete coverage of all financial and regulatory reporting requirements for the bank. |

| Responsibilities • Conducting an in depth analysis of the financials (Net Revenue and Balance Sheet) on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis • Reviewing the financial and ad hoc reports for quarterly meetings with board • Ensuring robust, all encompassing Legal Entity control frame work • Overseeing all daily p/l and balance sheet production and reporting • Developing, implementing and managing the Reg W reporting process and ensuring timely remediation of breaches working with Operations and the Business Unit Risk Management Team • Liaising with Bank Regulators (OCC and FED), Bank Senior Management, Internal and External Audit, Operations and Product Controllers on a regular basis as it relates to the Banks financials and regulatory requirements • Assisting with new product analyses as they relate to compliance with GAAP and Bank regulatory requirements |

| Qualifications •8-15 years of relevant experience at a large bank or securities firm • Knowledge of regulatory / legal entity reporting and annual report preparation •Experience in product control or demonstrable expertise of financial products a plus. • CPA strongly preferred. • Proficiency with Excel |
