JOB DESCRIPTIONProvide hands-on analysis, requirements gathering and documentation for Reporting and Analytics for new accounting system using Oracle financial services accounting hub and Hyperion Reporting. Analyze and document very detailed requirements and design documents for Reporting and Analytics need for Accounting/Finance department related to new accounting system implementation. Requirements must meet the needs of internal and external users of the system and must include all the details necessary for developers to design and develop Hyperion reports. Analyze and understand current accounting and business processes, reports and excel/access based solutions quickly and create report design documents for new system in a fast paced environment with aggressive deadlines.
• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or Business Administration. • 7 years of experience in hands-on business analysis related to Reporting and Analytics for Accounting/Financial systems. • Expert in Hyperion reporting business analysis. MUST HAVE successfully participated in at least two implementation of Hyperion Reporting platform for sub ledger accounting and finance systems. • Demonstrated experience in preparing business requirements documents. • Understanding of GAAP Principles, accounting policies, sub ledger systems, etc. • Proficiency required in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Access. • Experience documenting and flow-charting procedures including working knowledge of Visio software. • Strong oral and written communication skills to prepare memoranda, requirements, and other project documentation.
• Mortgage industry experience with REO properties preferred. • Expertise with Business Objects, Oracle Financials Hub desired.
