WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?
CFO is looking to retire in next 18-36 months; company has acquired 7 domestic and international businesses (all under $25M) and more than tripled EBITDA. High visibility; lots of diversity in role. Opening due to 2011 placement was offered a VP Finance role with another company due to skills developed in this role.
Private equity infused industry that has more than doubled revenues and tripled EBITDA in last four years. CEO wants to double business again. Center stage role within decentralized B2B with domestic and global operations. Upside to be CFO in 1-3 years. Revenues are approaching $150M and there are two acquisitions on the horizon and one already completed in 2014. Report to CFO (wants to mentor and groom his replacement), communicate across to total business and to CEO and Board level, and be responsible for the following: • Monthly financial package including consolidations of international operations, intercompany reconciliations, B/S updates, income statement flux analysis, and key account analysis….will prepare proforma comparisons and metrics (e.g. labor, overhead, material, inventory, revenue, cash, E&O, T&E, orders shipped, backlog) • Prepare flash and cash flow forecasts • Manage the daily corporate accounting activities. • Provide support to Divisional Controllers on accounting treatment and accounting controls • Prepare twelve month rolling forecasts • Participate on annual budget development • Upgrade accounting controls and policies with final objective to be SOX compliant • Manage proper tracking of fixed assets due to reorganization of manufacturing and acquisitions • Partner to develop customer and product group P/Ls • Assist on future acquisition and merger integrations • Partner on risk management negotiations for all property and casualty
CPA or MBA wanted. Seeking ideally 7-15 years of business experience. First choice is the self-motivated and promotable candidate with public accounting underpinning and currently in a financial management role within a decentralized manufacturer with global operations. Must possess VLookUp, pivot tables, and Data Mining skills. Any Hyperion, Cognos, INFOR, Navision, or Dynamics experience is a plus. Must have strong financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting skills. Must be willing to travel 10-20%. No relocation considered.
