Due to our continued growth, our client is currently recruiting for an International Senior Tax Manager to join their Waltham, Massachusetts office. This is a position that will have a fast growth track to Partner! We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities include: • Managing internal resources and work directly with clients to provide expatriate and foreign-national inbound tax compliance and consulting services • Guide clients on taxation requirements in various countries and treaty provisions • Advise clients in understanding taxation requirements and tax planning for employees compensation in alignment with their corporate policies. • Review individual income tax returns, conduct US tax law research, manage tax consulting projects, and assist in the administration of company tax programs. • Manage tax compliance for US individuals working and living outside of the US. • Will possess the technical and communication skills necessary, to identify issues, develop appropriate solutions and implement them • Responsible for supervising assignments by staff and senior staff and will provide leadership, counseling and career guidance to them as well. • Must have proven extensive technical expertise and have developed their reputation within the international tax profession • Should have a desire to continue build this expanding practice.
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field • 8 or more years of general tax experience, with at least 3 years in expatriate and foreign national tax compliance, tax equalization policy implementation/consulting, and management of international assignee populations of multi-national clients. • CPA, JD or EA with MST is required • Be familiar with the individual income tax issues and tax law including foreign national and expatriate issues, foreign tax compliance and the tax equalization process • Strong communication skills both written and verbal • Excellent project management and presentation skills • Prior supervisory experience required
