WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?
We are seeking a highly-motivated individual, with a strong attention to detail and sufficient expertise and experience, who will be a key contributor in our SEC reporting team. This position will report to the Director, SEC Reporting. CPA & SEC experience required, bonus up to 12.5% plus stock grants, real estate experience highly preferred, BIG 4 experience highly preferred, may consider candidate at the senior level, targeting 3-7 years of experience
JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities • Prepare the Company’s Forms 10-K, 10-Q and other SEC filings as needed, including financial statements, footnotes and MD&A. • Prepare/review supporting schedules and documentation for SEC filings. • Review the monthly/quarterly stock-based compensation accounting calculations and journal entries. • Prepare the quarterly/annual stock-based compensation forecast. • Prepare the quarterly/annual EPS calculations. • Remain current with new technical accounting standards, particularly those that impact financial reporting. • Assist in drafting responses to SEC comment letters. • Interface effectively with numerous individuals both inside and outside the Company, including the external auditors, to address and resolve accounting issues. • Assist in the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts in connection with the financial reporting process.
Qualifications& Experience • Minimum of 3 years of audit experience at a Big Four accounting firm • Bachelor’s degree in Business, with a concentration in Accounting or Finance. • CPA certification (active status) required. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
