JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for maintaining a high degree of knowledge of laws and regulations relating to credit cards, related payment systems and credit card operation functions, including card issuance and credit card underwriting processing; Analyze and interpret applicable federal, state and other regulatory authorities’ rules and regulations and apply to review of business line products, processes, systems and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws; Conducts compliance reviews of credit card products and services to confirm the Bank is meeting the regulatory requirements and mitigating legal and reputational risks; Participate in the development and maintenance of applicable compliance programs; • Identify and communicate relevant information on: industry changes and trends, regulatory risks, testing results and recommendations to senior leadership of the Bank; Participate in the development and implementation of necessary training programs to ensure compliance objectives are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

5-7 years financial institution experience with consumer compliance or lending operations focus; credit card experience is a plus;• Detailed knowledge of consumer lending regulations • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related program; • Excellent decision making skills, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks/projects; • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, which would include: sound written and oral communications, ability to effectively negotiate and listen to other viewpoints objectively, and • Proven experience in project coordination
Preferred Qualifications: (CRCM designation a plus)
