JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position will support Corporate Functions and will be responsible for activities such as forecasting, planning, reporting and analysis and business decision support for specific functions. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: • Financial Analyst : Lead monthly close process and reporting for assigned areas, including preparation of general month-end close journal entries, analyzing results, identifying issues, explaining trends and variances to plan, forecast and prior year. • Financial Analyst : Develop forecasts, annual operating plan and Long Range Plan (LRP). Consolidate, process and submit forecasts/plans and LRP in a timely and efficient manner to ensure compliance with established timelines/requirements. • Financial Analyst : Collaborate with key stakeholders within the functions to understand their needs and requirements and tailor finance and decision support to meet these needs. • Financial Analyst : Identify risks and opportunities and bring these to the attention of senior leadership teams in a timely manner and make recommendations for appropriate actions. • Financial Analyst : Proactively identify and implement process and/or system improvements for key activities Financial Analyst : Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with business partners • Financial Analyst : Strong analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting • Financial Analyst : High performing team player who is comfortable in a matrix environment • Financial Analyst : Self-starter with strong problem solving, analytical skills and decision-making capabilities • Financial Analyst : Working knowledge of PC applications and systems (Excel, Cognos & JDE) • Financial Analyst : Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills Education and Experience For immediate consideration, email a copy of your resume in word, and salary history to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or country equivalent) -Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 4 + years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting Ideal candidates should be certified (CPA), and have between 2 and 8 years of experience, with at least 2 years of experience at a tier one public accounting firm.
Must have an audit or public accounting background.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 3 – 5 years related work experience and Public accounting experience required.
