JOB DESCRIPTIONSenior Engineer with Petroleum background to: **Provide engineering input for a multi-rig development plan. Focus on density considerations, type curve validation, and prospect approvals. **Oversee 100+ company operated wells as necessary to maintain and improve development and base production. **Work with a team of production superintendents, production foremen, pumpers and consultants with monthly trips to the field. **Perform economic justifications for acreage acquisitions and joint venture opportunities. **Implement best practices and maximize production on new well flow-backs for a multi-rig drilling program. **Identify, evaluate and implement new production practices and technologies as applicable to our production operations. This includes artificial lift optimization, SWD cost management, and facility modifications as needed to maximize value. **Identify well candidates requiring workovers, recompletions, re-fracture treatments, artificial lift optimization and other production enhancement opportunities. **Review and approve expenditures for workovers, re-completions and LOE and make recommendations to reduce costs and enhance efficiencies. **Work with safety coordinator to improve and maintain a safe working environment in all field production operations. **Maintain an active presence in industry associations such as SPE.
Education: BS in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or other applicable engineering discipline. Seven to fifteen plus years production/reservoir experience in the petroleum industry.
Experience in the Mid Continent with a fundamental understanding of reservoir engineering and economics (ARIES), gas production and facilities, compression and plunger lifts systems is a strong plus. Drilling or completion experience is helpful.
