Be on the front end of strategy and hands-on tactical management of e-commerce/e-business applications. Upside can lead to CIO of an international corporation and niche leader


2013 will be another record year. Global business. Sustained revenue growth has come from acquisitions, product innovation, and channel expansion. This is a best practices environment that wants to be more aggressive with eCommerce/eBusiness technology. Company manufacturers high quality products that are sold to B2C and B2B markets. Be a business partner to SBUs, executive team, and leadership across manufacturing, supply chain, and sales/marketing. The goal is to develop and implement an eBusiness solution that encompasses mobile/tablet, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), digital marketing (SEM), social media, order & customer management, supply chain, customer segmentation and back office integration for North America before rolling out to global markets. Develop, implement, and drive adoption of eCommerce and customer portal applications for the purpose of smooth transactions. This includes the development of eCommerce and eBusiness strategies for leveraging organizational procedures and processes via the Internet. Team with the application development to ensure design, implementation, and administration of the eBusiness portfolio is in line with corporate strategy. Partner with internal and external customers to drive adoption of the eBusiness portfolio. Create the Vision & Strategy: Develop long-term eBusiness strategic and tactical plan, including standards, procedures, and guidelines, based on business goals and direct customer feedback. Be viewed as the subject matter expert for current and emerging Web technologies and issues in support of eBusiness/eCommerce efforts. Project Management: Coordinate organizational eBusiness strategy, including eCommerce and customer portal application development. Integrate B2B workflow processes with web-based applications, including billing, shipping, inventory, and order fulfillment. Drive adoption of eBusiness portfolio throughout customer base. Develop and launch transaction-based commerce applications. Develop and communicate site/application usage and security policies and standards to all clients, partners, and other users. Set and enforce compatibility and interoperability standards that ensure site accessibility for customers, business partners, and internal users.


BS/BA; MBA/Masters a plus. History as a hands-on business partner with demonstrated results driving eBusiness/eCommerce activities within a medium to large B2C or B2B distribution business model. Strong project management principles needed. Excellent understanding of IT/Web infrastructure, SEO, communications, marketing, and customer service principles. Proven background in deploying software and driving adoption to a varied user base. Hands-on experience with software design practices, relational databases, and data-driven Web applications. Self-motivated and directed
