JOB DESCRIPTIONSpecific Job Responsibilities: Analyzing financial statements and trends; Researching market transactions; Reviewing and evaluating public company data; Utilizing and developing financial/valuation models; Performing economic and industry research; Preparing detailed reviews of third party valuations Summarizing legal agreements (such as asset purchase agreements, partnership agreements, etc.) Preparing written reports supporting valuation conclusions; Participating in client site visits and management interviews; Maintaining an accurate work-in-progress schedule of work assigned; Communicating with senior team members regarding project status and technical issues; and Obtaining appropriate levels of continuing education and valuation credentials.
Specific qualifications include: Must have finance/accounting degree with a minimum 3.25 GPA; Bachelor’s in finance with a strong emphasis in accounting Bachelor’s in accounting with a strong emphasis in finance Bachelor’s in accounting and Master’s in finance (or a professional accounting program) Must have completed intermediate accounting and finance courses; Must have at least 3 years work experience in relevant position; and Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

We would prefer candidates to have experience with engagements for financial reporting purposes, proficiency in financial modeling, and a genuine interest in corporate finance and investments. The ideal candidate should be a critical thinker and possess a range of attributes, including excellent analytical capabilities, proven research skills, an eagerness to take on responsibility, exceptional interpersonal skills, and comfort with a fast pace and fluid environment. Strong project management, writing, communication, and presentation skills are also desired.
