Join a leading mid-size CPA firm as a Senior Manager on the new Business Valuations and Transactions team.
 
Job Description:
Responsibilities: Individual will become involved in executing and supervising client engagements within the firm’s financial advisory practice (of valuations and fairness opinions) and therefore must have the capacity to interact with senior executives as well as other external service providers Major engagement management responsibilities including managing client relationships, coaching staff and coordinating services from other parts of the firm. Researching complex accounting issues and conducting financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and other transaction related services. Develop financial models, performing economic and industry research, creating presentations and reports that are submitted to our clients and certain day- to-day administrative tasks Draft report findings including the preparation of tables, exhibits and charts Balance multiple engagements and responsibilities Assist in the coaching, mentoring and counseling of staff Oversee Associates and Seniors during client engagements Preform reviews of third party appraisals for audit support Demonstrate an understanding of risk associated with engagements 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Bachelors Degree required, Masters in Finance or Accounting preferred; CPA, CVA, ABV, or ASA preferred; expected credentialing to occur in first year of employment if not so credentialed 8 + years to technical and financial advisory related experience with direct involvement in the preparation of business valuation reporting Ability to prepare multiple draft business enterprise and intangible valuation reports simultaneously with minimal supervision Exhibits the attributes needed to grow into a project management role Ability to create and deliver client service work that exceeds client expectations Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point Must be flexible with the potential travel requirements of client service engagements Experience in professional services firm preferred Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and oral
