The Audit Manager is responsible for planning and oversight of assigned audits. The Audit Manager ensures that their own work, as well as any employee supervised, is in compliance with established requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities: May lead a team focused on assigned audit and may assume the lead position on the audit, providing supervision and assignments to team members as Auditor In Charge as well as reviewing work papers completed by staff and drafting audit report May lead teams focused on multiple assigned audits and provides support, oversight, direction, expertise, and ensures work performed is within established requirements Responsible for oversight of time and staffing budgets for upcoming audits Responsible for planning of audits Responsible for primary contact with management regarding audit scope, status, and findings

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: 7 + years of related Audit experience is required In-depth knowledge of audit principles, practices, and governing regulations Previous management and leadership experience Business development experience Strong coaching and counseling skills Ability to delegate work to others Strong decision-making and follow through ability PC skills (MS Office Suite) Works well independently and with others Strong analytical, and oral and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities, including audits, projects, and administrative responsibilities while meeting deadlines Project management and team working experience Promotes the use of advanced audit techniques such as continuous auditing and monitoring Ability to build and maintain relationships with peers and management Ability to resolve conflicts Strong knowledge of laws and regulations governing the banking industry CPA required
