Job Description:
Client bank is seeking a Leasing Manager (LM) responsible for marketing equipment finance products, within the assigned marketplace to t offer loans and leases to businesses for their equipment needs. The LM will primarily concentrate on self-sourcing new client relationships with non-bank clients whose annual revenues are between $5MM and $250MM. Additionally, the LM will work with assigned Bank Relationship Managers (RMs) to identify equipment financing opportunities within the bank's customer base. The LM will have a strong background in sales and experience in originating, qualifying and closing a variety of loan and lease financing products. The LM will work cooperatively with internal staff to submit, credit approve, document and fund transactions. The position carries an annual production budget of $20MM.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Basic Qualifications 5+ years experience in equipment finance leasing with an understanding of credit and documentation. Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated experience in lease pricing, negotiation and closing transactions. Thorough understanding of credit issues including technical ability to analyze and interpret financial statements. Professional sales, negotiation and presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term internal and external business relationships. Strong PC skills. Demonstrated experience in loan and lease pricing, negotiation and closing Local market knowledge and experience Thorough understanding of Tax Lease Equipment Financing Products (FMV/EBO/Capped/1st Amendment/Synthetic Leases) Knowledge and understanding of tax, accounting, credit, legal and documentation issues in connection with equipment financing and leasing Strong PC skills (including Excel, Word, Outlook)
 
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Skills Lease pricing software 5+ years of successful equipment finance and leasing sales experience to middle market corporations, preferably with a bank-owned equipment finance company Self-motivated sales professional
