Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, Global Financial Services Corporation Global Financial Services firm seeks Financial Planning & Analysis Director to oversee budgets/ forecasts and to provide strategic direction to firms long-term planning regarding FP&A matters. The Director will work across functions to produce strategic executive reports for several global businesses and associated functions, in addition to other core responsibilities. • Reporting directly to the corporate CFO and working hand in hand with executive team, the director will be tasked with improving company performance through careful identification and management of business trends. • Oversee Corporate level FP&A: lead the annual planning/budgeting process, delegating key areas to analysts as needed, and coordinating global, business level FP&A teams to consolidate top-level results • Create models to enhance budget process by benchmarking BAU results vs those achieved from key initiatives in other or related business units. • Create weekly and monthly forecasts for global results and maintain rolling forecasts for current year results on monthly basis. • Create annual forecasts projecting 3-5 year trends and budget developments • Coordinate cross-functional awareness of business trends and decision support by interfacing with key leaders in finance and business stakeholders. • Lead monthly business reviews with regional and business unit groups to report on performance vs. budget and prior periods • Analyze quarterly results and coordinate dialogue with executive team in order to complete earnings releases and related MD&A. • Ongoing analysis of company financial performance in support of competitor benchmarking. • Develop metrics on key operating processes and enhance internal reporting dashboards. • Create and provide analytical support for presentation materials, including Board meeting discussion materials and presentations

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with 10+ years experience in related function within Financial Services including demonstrated experience within Corporate Finance / Planning & Analysis • Must have expert level skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access as well as other applications • Experience with ERP systems, and document retention solutions. Experience with Hyperion is preferred.
