JOB DESCRIPTIONGlobal business that partners with corporations, universities, state governments, and investment firms on financial services technology strategies and deployment. Company has more doubled in last five years (annual sales of $150+ million) and is looking for promotable talent. Company is a subsidiary of a large parent company (billions of dollars in assets). Looking for highly motivated professional with strong business acumen and upside potential. Very visible, interfaces with the executive team and business heads across the organization. Lead a group that is viewed as consultants/advisors to drive margin management and business optimization; it is a center of excellence for business intelligence, strategic/business planning, and financial reporting. Core functions will revolve financial reporting, business modeling, expense and revenue analysis, profitability reporting by product lines and key contracts, business metrics development, short/long term forecasting, and special projects. The role is a combination of recurring responsibilities and projects that will lead to full exposure of the business. • Lead a team of analysts on executing the monthly reporting life cycle – data capture, analysis and fact-based insights, deliverables, and action-based recommendations to support business objectives. • Create, support, and enhance centralized and flexible data/reporting systems. • Monthly analysis of key financial and operational metrics to define the direction and efficiencies. • Key contributor in business planning (budgeting and forecasting) with executive team. • Perform financial analysis and business modeling to determine long-term profitability. • Analysis and forecasting of new products and customized services for global customers
BS Accounting or Finance a must; MBA a plus. Seek 5-10 years of financial analysis and reporting experience. Strong technical (e.g. Excel, Access, SQL, SSRS), organizational, and communication skills; and the ability to work well in a deadline driven, dynamic fast-paced environment.
