JOB DESCRIPTIONThis is an entrepreneurial setting that will require building more robust infrastructure to support rapid organic growth. Partner with the CFO of this fast paced company and further evolve the FP&A function. Play a hands-on role and must be experienced creating, producing and maintaining financial reports and models and possess master Excel and analytical skills. Be responsible for daily, monthly and quarterly sales reporting, financial analysis and planning, KPI’s metrics analysis, sales commission calculations, and regulatory compliance. Support the rolling forecasts, annual operating and capital budget and strategic plans. Summarize data for tax filings (i.e. sales/use, excise and income tax reporting). You will be empowered to drive the FP&A function with senior management and ensure data integrity to be utilized for key business decisions. Partner with all cross functional management. Key areas of involvement will include: • Prepare business forecasts, metrics analysis, warranty analysis, budgets and strategic plans • Generate sales reports (daily, monthly, quarterly) evaluating mix, volume, demand and competitor analysis • Analyze sales pipeline in salesforce.com by product, product line, customer, territory, country • Develop sales metrics analysis and reporting (utilization, procedure volumes, territory profitability) • Develop monthly financial metrics and reporting (product margins; operating expenses; DSO; cash burn; staffing) • Calculate commissions develop reports by sales person and domestic and international distributor • Assist CFO with FP&A ad hoc reporting for President (i.e. market share analysis, related costs to new products) • Gather data for tax filings compliance (multi-sate S&U, federal, state, statutory, and international) • Generate financial summaries for regulatory reporting and compliance
BA/BS degree required; MBA a plus. Required is 5+years of accounting/finance with last 2+years within a capital equipment manufacturer or distributor with sales of $50-$350M. Ideal candidate is experienced in international financial reporting conversions and consolidations; strong ERP (i.e. JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, Syspro, Lawson, Salesforce.com, or QuickBooks) and excellent Excel modeling (vlookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas) are required. Solid MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Must be a self-starter who can prioritize, multi-task and function well within an entrepreneurial setting that experiencing rapid growth.
