Focus on evaluating existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. JOB DESCRIPTIONBe liaison to Operations, IT and Finance. Overview is as follows: • Build the infrastructure using Lawson that will track, measure, and forecast product costs • Measure and evaluate production costs by contract manufacturers • Develop and analyze costs/expenses associated with distribution and selling of products • Be involved in operation and capital spending budgets • Modify polices and procedures and ensure compliance • Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, determine effects on on cost • Forecast and analyze inventory and reconcile finished goods inventories to the General Ledger • Participate in operational review meetings • Lead Physical inventory • Prepare product line reporting • Participate on process improvement • Develop business metrics • Review manufacturing vendor agreements and purchase process • Prepare capital accounting requests • Participate in annual & quarterly audits with outside auditors • Coordinate internal controls compliance for inventory, purchasing and fixed assets. • Assist with month end close
BS required. Seek 4+ years of product and manufacturing costing experience that includes variance analysis and cycle counts. Pluses are experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvements, SOX compliance, regulations, ERP systems implementation, and product pricing. Ideal candidate will have immediate upside potential.
