JOB DESCRIPTION

: Center stage role for an up and coming talent that will report to Corporate FP&A Manager. You will touch everyone from staff to President to corporate and operating units for this $ 450M+ consumer products business. Lots of brand intelligence forecasts, reporting, and analysis need to be developed. Quick overview of functionality is: • Support corporate P/L forecasting and reporting, budget planning, financial modelling of SBU’s performance. • Analyze P/L performance versus budget and prior forecasts and present finding to senior leadership. • Attend monthly operating meetings to discuss short and long term business strategies, results, and forecasts. • Deliver business analysis on SBU financial and operational performance (i.e. by product line, promotion, key customer). • Provide analysis of segment results to include P/L’s, contribution margin, operation/promotional expenses, etc. • Provide recommendations/solutions on trends and variance that impact manufacturing activities, brand marketing efforts and profitability. • Create Excel financial models and analysis for decision support and forecasting. • Participate on due diligence analysis of acquisitions and integration of products and customers. • Develop better/more timely modelling, forecasting, reporting and analysis data for management and executive team. • Numerous ad hoc analysis and special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS Finance or Accounting. MBA/CPA ideal with 3+ years of financial analysis experience within a Fortune 1000 manufacturer. Ideal candidates are from top tier companies with defined leadership management training programs. Must understand cost standards, inventory, BOM and have analyzed product P/L and develop budgets and forecasts. Important is a self-motivated contributor who wants to advance their career and is looking for an opportunity to break out and make a difference. Strong Excel and presentations skills are important. Anticipated promotion in 24+ months which will require out of state relocation.
