JOB DESCRIPTIONOPPORTUNITY: Work with a solid accounting team and serve as the right hand person to the Accounts Receivable Manager. Lead a team of 4+ and be responsible for all facets of the accounts receivable function and various M/E tasks. This includes chargebacks, customer resolution, interacting with vendors, variance analysis, billing, and reviewing bills of lading. Assist with month end close and complete account analysis and reconciliations. Become knowledgeable of company policies and procedures. Solid management skills are key and experience with managing, training and critiquing staff is an absolute! Interface with the Credit Manager, Assistant Controller, customers, vendors and accounting department. Seeking a hard working, multi tasking leader who is a quick study! Great exposure to what happens behinds the scene in this growing publicly traded company! Be exposed to various domestic business offices in North America. REWARD: $35,000 to $50,000. REQUIREMENTS: BS, Accounting desired or in progress. Wanted is 3+ years of accounting/managerial experience gained in high volume billing company. Strong management leadership skills are a must! Hands-on experience with any ERP software is a plus. Must have strong Excel and Word skills. Ideally seeking candidates groomed in high volume billing settings within the retail/distribution arena. Ideal companies include Warnaco, Ann Taylor, and Stanley Black & Decker.
