JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission - Assist with preparation of annual Form 10-K. - Assist with preparation of quarterly Forms 10-Q. - Administer filing of reports to the SEC via EDGAR, including XBRL preparation. - Assist with other reports to SEC as necessary (e.g., Forms 8-K, registration statements, etc.). : Reports to Stockholders, Investors and Analysts - Annual Report to Stockholders - Assist in preparation of Financial Statements, Footnotes, Management's Discussion and Analysis and Eleven-year Summary. Continuously review and revise drafts for on-going changes. - Quarterly Earnings Press Release and CEO Teleconference Slides; Internet-Based Financial Information - Review and provide comments on draft documents provided by Investor Relations, focusing on accuracy and consistency with Forms 10-Q or 10-K and other published financial information. - Investor Presentations - Assist in obtaining supporting data for Senior Management presentations and review for consistency with previously published data. Liaison with Planning Department personnel. : Government Reporting - Coordinate Business Unit quarterly and annual government reporting as required by the Census Bureau, Department of Commerce and other government agencies. - Prepare quarterly and annual government reports for consolidated Company, as required. - Manage correspondence with Business Units and government agencies to assure timely submission of reporting. - Supervise Administrative Assistant in preparation and distribution of reports to/from Business Units and government agencies. - Obtain financial data relative to three principal functions from Business Units and corporate departments (General and International Accounting, Treasury, Tax, etc.), as necessary. Assist in the review of the data for reasonableness and accuracy. - Prepare and maintain workpapers supporting amounts and disclosures included in principal functional areas. Assist in preparation of slides included in Audit Committee and Board presentations. - Prepare or review financial information associated with ad hoc filings as needed (e.g., commercial paper memorandum, debt offering circulars, comfort letters, etc.) - Responsible for maintaining and updating North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) data for use in notification filings with the Federal Trade Commission and providing data for pre-acquisition/sale HSR filings. - Maintain XBRL taxonomy database for company and serve as main internal XBRL resource as well as liaison with XBRL service provider. - Perform stock compensation expense calculations for company non-US entities' statutory filings. Provide data to Business Unit CFOs. Assist Executive Compensation and auditors with related requests. : Assist in special projects as necessary, including: - Potential restatements of financial information due to the evolution of company operations and other events such as stock splits. - Review of documents related to acquisitions and divestures. - Surveys of accounting and reporting practices and disclosures by company peer companies for possible application to the organization. - Data gathering and analysis for presentation development. - Research accounting theory, rules and practice as specialized accounting problems arise. - Research and interpretation of rules and regulations issued by regulatory bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION : Undergraduate degree in accounting and CPA required. EXPERIENCE : Approximately three years audit experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm desired. SEC experience helpful.
