WHY IS THIS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY?

Our client, a multinational insurance company is seeking a Legal Entity Fed. Regulatory Reporting. The manager will report to the Director and Head of Federal Regulatory Reporting and help in the preparation and submission of financial filings required for companies regulated by the Federal Reserve. This person will also help transition the Company to new regulations and establish a business-as-usual reporting process to comply with the Federal Reserve reporting requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Working with corporate and business accounting corporate consolidation functions to meet various reporting requirements including FRY-11, 2314, FRY-9C, Y-9LP, Y-11, 2314, Y-8, Y-12, and Y-6,FFIEC 009, 101, 031 • Reviewing the filings for consistency and completeness across the organization and to the financial records. • Managing the diverse reporting process to assure timely and accurate filings. • Analyzing new requirements as they occur to determine their impact on the Company's public reporting and monitor developments in the Federal Reserve reporting arena. • Interacting significantly with various areas of the Company including other Comptrollers units, Treasury and various business units

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.A. / B.S. degree is required. Previous public accounting experience and/or a CPA is preferred. • 6 or more years of accounting and financial reporting experience. • Experience with Regulatory reporting such as Knowledge of Insurance accounting practices beneficial. • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential. • Strong technical, analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills. • Proficient in the use of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access. • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight time frames. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical. • Highly motivated, team player that is detail oriented and is able to meet deadlines.
