Global Bank Seeks VP, Infrastructure audit, responsible for development and completion of an effective audit plan that provides thorough, risk based coverage for Technology Infrastructure and Enterprise Processes globally. The VP will also lead and develop a team of IT auditors, as well as work closely with Technology Audit leadership functions and global product auditors to ensure delivery of a successful internal audit program. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of technology infrastructure and support processes, as well as a fundamental risks associated with a large commercial and investment bank.
Job Description:
• Development of an audit plan of coverage for Technology Infrastructure and Enterprise Processes that ensures all key risks are audited regularly and that regulatory requirements are met. • Driving the planning, execution, and reporting of Technology Infrastructure and Enterprise Process audits according to corporate methodologies for a portfolio of audit entities across technology and the businesses globally. • Report to senior management on issues, trends and causes of issues, and monitor the progress of remedial actions to satisfactory resolution. • Build and manage relationships with senior line management as key audit contacts. • Understand and audit the compliance with regulations that impact technology world-wide. Manage the interaction with technology regulators for all elements of Technology Infrastructure and Enterprise Processes. • Develop a solid understanding of core technologies that support the businesses and functions globally. Keep abreast of new laws, rules, products, technologies and applications and assess their impact on risks and controls. • Manage delivery of the audit portfolio against budgeted timeframes, resourcing requirements, and controllable costs, and provide the Chief Auditor for Technology, Change and Third Parties with regular status updates. • Provide quality assurance over all aspects of the audit process to ensure compliance with corporate methodologies and professional standards. • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to team members to promote best practices and process improvements. • Liaise with business audit teams to ensure effective integration of audit scope and sharing of best practices. • Ensure optimal levels of computer assisted audit tools and techniques (CAATTs) are used to increase audit coverage and drive audit efficiencies.
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Qualifications • A minimum of 8-12 years of experience managing or auditing technology and related IT processes including the design, operation or testing of controls to mitigate business risks • An in-depth understanding of Technology Infrastructure and Enterprise Processes, plus a strong auditing or risk background. CISA or related certification highly sought. • Knowledge of banking business systems and typical application controls, plus service provider management controls to manage business risks. • Experience in analyzing technology processes and the operation of services which support them. • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex engagements on time and to budget. • Proven analytical ability to understand complex business issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
