Our client, a leader in the entertainment industry, seeks a Director of Finance, to provide strong financial guidance and support rapidly growing business. The director position will work closely with senior management, developing reports, defining and tracking key operational and financial metrics, and providing insightful analyses of labor, revenue, capital and expenses to help drive business activities toward achieving financial goals.
 
Job Description:
• Performing budget vs. actual P&L analysis • Reviewing and tracking of revenue to forecast • Developing accurate EBITDA, revenue, cash flows, CapEx, and headcount forecasts • Support as needed SEC/External reporting process in collaboration with company accounting leadership • Performing financial analyses in support of investment decisions and major initiatives • Preparing monthly management reports highlighting operational performance metrics, historical results, forecasts, budgets, and trends • Provide financial leadership in the development of departmental annual plans and forecasts • Performing actual to budget/forecast variance analyses while highlighting risks and opportunities • Financial modeling and analysis as needed • Preparing presentations illustrating business performance • Supporting analyses of Division M&A opportunities and acquisition integration
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: • At least 7 years prior operations finance experience in professional services • BA in finance or Accounting • CPA or MBA preferred • Experience developing and managing staff is a plus • SEC Reporting experience preferred • Financial modeling and strong analytical skills • Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills • Experience in management reporting preferred • Prior performance of full P&L responsibility • History of success in driving profitability and business growth • Experience in financial systems: advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills; MAS 200 G/L beneficial
