Tax professionals develop a great deal of knowledge about the business and get a comprehensive picture of the entire business enabling a proactive, year-round tax reporting approach.


The individual in this position will manage US GAAP tax related financial reporting for our foreign subsidiaries as well adherence to department policies quarterly and annual procedures and compliance with required SOX control objectives. This role will have a strong relationship and exposure with Tax Controller, International Tax Director, Foreign Finance and Tax leads, External Reporting team, Financial Planning and Analysis team, and internal and external auditors.


The role requires detailed knowledge of US GAAP tax accounting as well as prior International tax reporting experience. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and accounting skills, International Tax experience, familiarity with tax accounting IT systems (e.g., Thomson OTP and GAM) and the ability to perform under pressure with multiple simultaneous deadlines. Strong organizational skills and the ability to be a team player are valued in this role, as is strong written and verbal communication skills. - 8+ years experience in tax accounting and international tax - Bachelor Degree in Accounting/or Finance - Solid understanding of ASC 740 (formerly FAS109 and FIN 48) and ability to apply excellent judgement on tax accounting matters - Strong financial analysis and analytical skills - Strong computer and system skills - Self-motivated individual with ability to manage multiple tasks independently - Ability to meet deadlines in time-sensitive periods - Desire to drive continuous improvement processes - Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate with all levels of management

Preferred Qualifications:
Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred CPA preferred Familiarity with Thomson tax accounting software preferred
