JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for, all facets of financial analysis, profitability analytics, peer analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) Profitability Analysis: Direct, perform, present and evolve analysis of net interest income, non-interest income and non-interest expense by business unit, branch, product, and officer identifying areas of risk and opportunities. Direct, perform, present, and evolve analysis of yield, rate, volume and mix related to net interest income by business unit, branch, product and officer identifying areas of risk and opportunities. Direct, perform, present, and evolve risk adjusted return on capital measures by business unit, branch, product, and officer identifying areas of risk and opportunities. Develop indirect cost allocation methodology and implement into business unit and branch profitability reporting. Develop and automate product profitability system including funds transfer pricing, direct fixed & variable costs, and indirect cost allocations. Develop and automate ALCO data feeds, analyze and make recommendations for revisions to core financial committee members. Reporting:(area of Critical importance and emphasis) Reporting must match bank’s focus: revenue, net interest income, credit quality, and efficiency ratio. Develop review schedule for all internal financial reports to ensure focus, data integrity and accuracy. Thoroughly cross train on MPC financial reporting system.

QUALIFICATIONS

Banking experience is an absolute requirement. BS degree required with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting 10 + years of relevant experience in accounting or finance Current experience in MPC and Fiserv required.
