JOB DESCRIPTIONLeading the division external sales effort in the community through personal involvement in generating client contacts, identifying customer needs and proposing appropriate services and products. Over 70% of daily activities include external client business development. Aid Private Bankers in targeting, developing, managing and sustaining banking relationships with affluent clients in the professional services niche (CPAs, attorneys, doctors, entrepreneurs, etc). Responsibilities include providing exceptional personal service to the client including depository and commercial lending/banking services, credit and mortgage products, etc. Relationship management includes customer service, retention, proactive client contact and all aspects of service as financial advisor to the client. Cultivate relationships with external centers of influence, such as estate planning attorneys, tax-planning accountants, attorneys, etc. Developing and achieving annual sales plans in concert with bank leadership. The Private Banking Director is expected to complete continuing education and professional development courses, leadership development and product and service training to ensure skills are maintained and strengthened.
10 or more years of Private Banking experience with five or more in a leadership role.
