This is a great opportunity for a technical accountant/ policy expert with public accounting plus private background to parlay their skills and knowledge into an Accounting Operations role at a company that provides long term career growth, benefits and opportunities.


Responsible for managing and directing special accounting operations at the Corporate level.. These operations consist of ongoing technical accounting activities and other special projects as assigned. -Responsible for the following: (a) managing the accounting for treasuring matters, including debt instruments, derivatives and other financial instruments; (b) managing the accounting for leasing activities; (c) managing the accounting for restructuring activities; (d) managing the accounting for purchase accounting; (e) managing the accounting and disclose requirements associated with various fair value accounting pronouncements; (f) managing the accounting requirements necessary to report financial data in accordance with both US GAAP and IFRS; (g) monitoring and ensuring SOX compliance related to the above areas.


-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance Certified Public Accountant (CPA), -Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent experience -Minimum of 13 years of experience in Accounting or Finance -Minimum of 6 years of experience in Public Accounting (Big 4 or large regional firm experience preferred) -Minimum of 4 years of Corporate experience

Preferred Qualifications:
-Excellent technical accounting, analytic, communication and teamwork skills -Knowledge of accounting pronouncements, particularly related to consolidations, financial statement disclosures and SEC rules and regulations --Strong leadership and problem solving skills with a bias for action and issue resolution -Ability to work under pressure and in a time constrained environment -MBA or Masters in Accounting/Finance preferred
