Major Manufacturing Company seeks External Reporting Specialist to prepare quarterly and annual SEC compliant consolidated financial statements for various departments, coordinate the external and internal management representation letter process on a quarterly basis, research technical accounting for special projects, support SOX compliance as well at audit functions and other ad hoc assignments.
JOB DESCRIPTION• Prepare Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and IFRS reports in accordance with company policies. • Prepare quarterly and annual SEC compliant consolidated financial statements for Company under GAAP • Assist in preparation of financial related SEC documents (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc). • Prepare US GAAP and IFRS consolidated Statements of Cash Flows. Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting schedules for Treasury Group. • Assist in review of financial related information included in quarterly press releases, analyze presentations and financial documents. • Coordinate the external and internal management representation letter process on a quarterly basis. • Assist in preparation of SEC compliant XBRL exhibits, technical accounting research on various topics and special projects and other responsibilities, as assigned. • Coordinate SOX compliance, including documentation and testing as required. • Support external audit and review procedures. Provide accounting and financial reporting guidance and support to other corporate accounting staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or accounting, or MBA. • CPA , Chartered accountant, or equivalent • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years public accounting at a Big 4 firm, or related firm. • MBA or masters in Accounting or Finance • Thorough understanding of SEC rules, regulations, and external reporting standards • Experience with SAP and Hyperion • Knowledge of technical accounting
