Why is This a Great Opportunity?
This is a very stable, sophisticated, and growing bank. It is an excellent career opportunity for a relational banker who seeks autonomy and empowerment. This is not the bank for a “run and gun” sales person with little or no credit experience. Qualified candidates may inherit a portfolio of performing clients, not work out credits masqueraded as loans. All candidates will have immediate exposure to bank leadership. Near term, this role may lead to management responsibilities for experienced candidates. Client will not entertain candidates from the residential mortgage industry and applications received from such candidates will not be considered.
Job Description:
Prospect for new middle market/C&I clients and maintain relationships by offering a full range of credit and ancillary services. Market bank products such as trust and treasury/cash management solutions. Complete credit analysis with the assistance of a designated underwriter and present package to senior credit decision partner.
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Consistently produce a minimum of $15,000,000 in general commercial and owner occupied real estate loans per year. Must be a graduate of a bank sponsored training program or have equivalent credit experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Extensive lending and credit experience in a traditional bank commercial middle market environment. Daily tasks include 60 % business development activities and 40% portfolio/relationship management tasks.
