JOB DESCRIPTIONTake this opportunity to develop your Accounting skills by joining this expanding Corporate Tax department headquartered in Akron Ohio. You will grow your skills by: Assisting the Tax Manager with the preparation of the Corporate Income Tax Return (Form 1120) Handling the preparation and calculation of the federal and state income tax estimated payments and extensions Calculate Parent and Subsidiaries apportionment factors used in the preparation of state income tax returns Prepare the state income tax returns for our Distribution business Facilitate the preparation, budgeting, filing, and reconciling of sales and use, personal and real property tax accounts and returns Assist in the support to domestic business segments in the areas of sales, property, and income taxes Lend assistance to the overall goals, compliance, and projects of the tax department You need: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required Working on an advanced degree and/or CPA is suggested 1 to 2 years of corporate tax, accounting or public accounting experience Our client is in their eighth year of operation!
