Client Bank has consistently produced a high ROE and operates a successful Residential Mortgage Department, incumbent manager has retired, seeking person that will continue to grow the mortgage volume by expanding originators and additional branch locations.
 
Job Description:
Strong skills in mortgage operations and strategy to achieve desired financial results and corporate objectives, by managing all mortgage underwriting, processing, and closing teams within the Mortgage Department. This position will be responsible for managing all employees, maximizing employee productivity, accountability, and effectiveness.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: 1. Direct the operations of the mortgage department to accomplish company objectives. 2. Provide direction, support, and training for all mortgage department personnel to meet objectives and retain personnel. 3. Monitor the quality of the Processors, Underwriters, Closers, and Shippers. 4. Manage staffing, work flow, and productivity to meet company objectives. 5. Oversees relations and contracts with vendors and service providers. 6. Follows and adheres to all operational and security policies and procedures. 7. Comply with compliance and privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection. 8. Controls losses by following policies and procedures. 9. Represents the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
 
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or other directly related field. 2. Five + years of mortgage operations experience and development plus proven skill in developing originators. 3. Must possess strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office products. 4. Must have exceptional management, organizational, communication, and customer relations skills. 5. Ability to set strategic goals and ensure high quality of products and services. 6. Ability to develop and lead a team.
