We are looking for a professional and hands-on CFO/Controller/Compliance Officer to be responsible for tax admin, investor reporting, compliance and bookkeeping. This position will also assist with investment structuring, review investment documentation, manage investor subscription process, and help portfolio companies develop financial operations.


Responsibilities: • Management company expense tracking and allocation to relevant entities • Investment vehicles limited transactions for each vehicle • Portfolio companies as needed • Tax administration, including Routine filings for each entity (FTB, Federal, international, etc), K1s for investors and Management company taxes • Investor management, including handling of investor subscription process and distribution of documents, answering key documentation questions, reviewing documents for completeness and verification of funding, etc. Also responsible for KYC / AML processes alongside external advisors and maintenance of investor files for each vehicle. • Investor reporting, including distribution of materials on scheduled basis, vehicle performance reporting, handling Q&A on basic transactional details, and managing compliance processes. • Overall responsibility, including interface with CounselWorks (compliance consultants), admin annual external audit for investment vehicles, authorization of market documents (track clearing with compliance) and maintenance of restricted list. • Preparation and submission of SEC filings • Personal account periodic review and reporting • Investment structuring, including assisting with legal interface and review of vehicle structuring and documentation and Certain offshore investments that may require research into structures • Operational due diligence, including assisting with operational and legal due diligence process in investments, fund and company investments, portfolio companies, helping portfolio companies put financial operations into place (or serve as ops for them) • Bookkeeping


Qualifications: • 7-15 yrs yrs of relevant experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Accting/Finance • Hands-on with a willingness to be 100% responsible and get both big and mundane tasks done • Efficient and detail oriented • Expert with domains and focused on perfecting that domain • Technologically capable of pushing the company to use best tools, automate processes, and increase ease of use for everyone
