Job Description:
The Private Banker Relationship Manager Associate Program is a sales training program, designed specifically to prepare successful graduates to become highly productive Private Bankers. Must be local to Los Angeles market. Relationship Managers are frontline salespeople. They build and maintain a relationship-based client portfolio, identify lead product opportunities, and cross-sell a diversified product portfolio to a sophisticated, high net worth client base. An RM’s responsibilities include developing and maintaining private client, professional, and business banking relationships, as well as generating deposit accounts, investment advisory accounts, loans and lines of credit, and trust and brokerage referrals. The Associate Program is a two-year development program, not a churn-and-burn cold calling program, and is comprised of three core components: 1. The one-on-one Associate/ Mentor RM relationship, the purpose of which is to provide to the Associate the opportunity to learn the necessary sales and networking skills and subtleties required to become an autonomous producer. 2. Attendance-based training modules, designed to provide the Associate with exposure to the Bank’s various functional areas. 3. Achievement-based training milestones, aimed at evaluating both developing and program-taught skills.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: This is a highly selective program and requires: • At least two years of prior experience in banking or financial services. You must be familiar with banking terms and the general landscape of bank products and services. • The right candidate should have the desire to be a full-service banker, specializing in lending. • A genuine interest in being in sales • Experience with processing and underwriting residential loans and/or commercial lending experience. • An undergraduate degree from an accredited, four-year institution
