JOB DESCRIPTION

Vibrant business with a mixture of manufacturing, supply chain, sales/service, and engineering consulting. Company has more than doubled in last 6 years and is ambitious about future growth through new product development, international expansion, and acquisitions. This is a center stage role that will key on financial reporting, scorecard, analysis, short term forecasting, and annual budget process. Report to Corporate Controller and be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining monthly financial reporting, global consolidations, analysis, and forecasting through financial management software. Role will have additional responsibility for planning and coordinating software upgrades as well as developing, designing, and implementing in-house solutions for security, data management, and reporting across the company. Partner with various international finance teams, tax, treasury, and legal to set-up, reorganize and maintain inter-company and subsidiary relationships. Be the team lead on the migration and implementation of new financial management software. Use your project management, decision making and organization skills to ensure the success of initiatives across the Corporation. Team with SBUs to identify inefficiencies in processes, streamline processes and propose solutions. Manage all software and application upgrades, including development, design, testing, and documentation. Ensure the monthly close processes run timely and efficiently. Perform monthly intercompany analysis to identify issues and work with accounting team to resolve data integrity and accounting treatments. Assist in preparing monthly consolidation validation reports including roll-forwards of goodwill, intangibles equity, and other accounts. Create/enhance business metrics and scorecard. Partner with key stakeholders to develop reports, forecasts, analysis, and other data to support business operations and strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Accounting, Finance or MIS; CPA or MBA a plus. 5+ years of business experience with 2+ years of supporting financial reporting and analysis with an international business using financial management software (e.g. SAS, HFM, TM1, BPC). Experience with IFRS and financial statement analysis is wanted. Must possess strong technical, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
