Opportunity to assist a very dynamic, high profile Senior Executive in a well established regional Broker-Dealer firm in Austin, Texas.
 
Job Description:
As the right-hand to the Senior Managing Director you will provide administrative, sales, trading and operational support. Duties will vary in this dynamic, fast-paced environment and will include supporting this executive with various administrative duties smoothly and efficiently with minimal supervision as well as being able to recognize and act on emerging priorities. The position includes opportunities for growth. Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to: •Provide phone and administrative assistance to select senior management •Arrange travel schedule and reservations for executive management as needed •Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner •Be responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executive and assistants •Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications on behalf of executives Ideal candidate should: •Must have industry experience-- Series 7 & 63 licenses at a minimum •Be computer literate: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Outlook •Have strong work ethic, self-motivated, quick learner •Perform well in hectic environments where short deadlines are the norm •Have excellent record of dependability, reliability and loyalty •Be friendly, courteous and articulate.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: Must have industry experience-- Series 7 & 63 licenses at a minimum!
 
Education: Bachelor's
 
Certifications: None
 
Licenses: FINRA Registered Rep - Series 7 - Stock Broker; NASAA State Registration / Investment Advisor - Series 63
