| Desired Skills & Experience " Strong GAAP, FAS 109/FIN 48 accounting for taxes, tax provisions " Financial services experience preferred " Someone who is visible with clients internally or externally " Comfortable in making presentations " Federal, state, and international, aseet management/investments a plus factor " Must be comfortable regularly interacting with and challenging senior management " Looking for someone who is assertive, creative and proactive " Computer skills including CorpTax compliance software and strong researching skills including use of on-line tools such as RIA or CCH " Occasional travel to business units may be required " Bachelors degree in accounting or other related business disciplines required " CPA and/or Masters degree in tax or accounting a plus " Comprehensive Tax experience (10+ years), financial services sector is preferred, life insurance expertise a plus " Formal legal training a plus " Knowledge of corporate tax topics |
