JOB DESCRIPTIONCompany Profile: Astris Finance, an independent advisory group headquartered in Washington, DC is partnering with JustinBradley in their search for an accounting manager. Astris is in the project finance and M&A space – providing advisory services – and could best be described as a boutique and established international organization. Originally created in 2000, Astris Finance was a subsidiary of a large European bank focused on their infrastructure financing ventures. In 2008, due to a corporate organizational change and a management buyout, Astris Finance became an independent financial advisory firm with international operations based in Washington, DC, Mexico City and Paris. Since its separation, Astris has seen substantial growth tripling the number of employees. With a strong international management team and the flexibility of a boutique firm, Astris has found itself as an up and coming player in the energy and infrastructure markets. Astris’ uniqueness comes from its ability to target large, visible transactions without the conflicts of interest involved with large corporate organizations. Accounting Manager: The CEO is looking to invest in an Accounting Manager to oversee the firm’s financial accounting and administrative operations. The right candidate will be a driven, entrepreneurial advisor to the executive team responsible for leading the financials for several cross border teams. The company is at an exciting point of growth, graduating from a small to medium sized company with two new offices opening in South America in 2013. This accounting professional will be instrumental in developing new initiatives and strategies to streamline the financial side of the firm. Responsibilities: • Build the financial accounting/budgeting infrastructure for a company eyeing new markets and transitioning to a more institutional investment banking boutique. • Consolidation of all financials for headquarters and regional offices (Washington, DC, Mexico City, and Paris locations). • Leading the implementation of a new accounting software allowing multi-currency/multi-site accounting. • Head the tax filings for firm. Oversee K1 preparation and distribution, manage provisional payments, and optimize tax framework. • Manage cash distribution/cash pool for central office as well as regional entities. • Prepare yearly budget in coordination with regional offices. • Prepare quarterly financial accounting reports for executive management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with exposure to current accounting software
• CPA • International accounting experience • Fluent in Spanish
