Strong Community Bank is looking to expand its equipment financing presence into several markets in the Southeast under the management of two industry veterans. Bank is relatively new, healthy and quickly growing with assets over 1 Billion. The Account Executive will be responsible for selling equipment finance products to new prospects and existing relationships with small to middle market companies in the assigned territory. New business is developed through direct sales origination with middle market companies – manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and service companies. Transaction sizes range from $500k to $8 million, with the average transaction $3-$5 million. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of success in sales with an equipment finance company or a commercial bank with experience marketing middle ticket equipment financing or commercial banking products to end users. Account executive must be an independent and tenacious marketer with an entrepreneurial spirit and extensive experience with originating, qualifying and closing a variety of financing products. A successful track record in corporate financial sales and a proven ability to meet volume quota requirements and establish solid relationships are required. The position requires the ability to identify opportunities and develop relationships with the account eruptive’s existing base of contacts as well as developing new customers. Excellent sales management, communication, marketing, credit skills and a thorough knowledge of a wide variety of financial products are required.


A minimum of 5 years experience with an equipment finance/leasing company or bank with a verifiable track record of initiating, qualifying, structuring and closing a variety of equipment financing transactions. In addition, financial and credit analysis skills are essential. A background in building and maintaining long term relationships with senior level managers of middle market companies in the assigned territory. An entrepreneurial determination, self starter, proactive marketer with a strong work ethic. Polished sales, marketing and presentations skills combined with excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management. A solid interpersonal approach with a demonstrated record of integrity and a strong sense of personal and professional ethics.
