| BASIC FUNCTION: Provide leadership, management and guidance to network services team. Manage the technical support team to ensure stability, integrity, security and efficient operations of technology infrastructure. Direct operational processes and policies in support of planning, coordination, communication and reporting. KEY ACTIVITIES: • Supervise network services staff that is responsible for supporting the bank’s network, telecommunications and applications to various lines of business and branch offices. • Administer security standards for the bank’s network and monitor for compliance with these standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate network operations activities with other departments, branch locations and third party service providers. • Manage the bank’s Help Desk function supporting over 200 desktops. • Perform annual performance evaluations, make hiring decisions, provide coaching/mentoring for network services staff. • Responsible for written policies and standards related to: network administration; risk assessments; capacity planning and budgeting; security program; business continuity plans; incident response; testing and evaluating new technologies and practices to enhance the bank’s network and security. • Assures proper administration of the bank’s WAN/LAN, Internet, and VPN systems. Oversee firewall rule-sets based on financial industry best practices, gauge and monitor network capacity thresholds, provide capacity and performance reporting against service level requirements. • Position requires compliance with all banking regulations, particularly the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering regulations, and FFIEC security guidelines. |

| Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related studies. Experience: 5 or more years of supervisory and direct technical support experience within a bank. Set-up, maintenance and associated skills in support of various Windows operating systems. Experience in budgeting, policy management, formal project and change management, capacity planning, business continuity, security, storage systems and team building also preferred. Skills: Must be able to lead, influence, and motivate others with demonstrated emphasis on managing a technical staff. Hands-on manager will have working knowledge of; MS server operating systems, VMware, VOIP phone systems, web-based applications, IIS, SharePoint and MLPS communications networks. Excellent organizational, personnel and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, both oral and written, and with all levels of staff and management. Ability to document process/procedures and maintain related operating standards. Strong design and implementation skills for building secure, stable infrastructure to support the growing technology needs of the company. |
