| We are looking for a hands-on Controller and Business Partner. Global parent; SBU is a critical manufacturing site with 4 profit centers and record revenues and profits in 2012. Accounting/financial role is highly valued. Upside potential is excellent. Strong brand equity in the product portfolio – recognized for quality and reliability. Have long term relationships with commercial and industrial customers. Looking to hire and start in January/February 2013. Report to Group VP of Finance (out-of-state); be the financial leader of a $90-100M SBU; supervise small team and closely interact with corporate leadership. Be a consultant and advisor to SBU General Managers and a business partner with Operations and other key department heads. Key responsibilities and projects are as follows: • Financial Accounting: Validate monthly accounting; prepare monthly close and commentary • Budget: Develop annual budget with General Managers; report on actual vs. budget variances. • FP&A: Analyze revenues and expenses for multiple profit centers; develop forecasts and projections; analyze trends and variances; develop metrics and present to leadership. • Operational Accounting: Support manufacturing and marketing challenges and changes such as product development, pricing strategies, bids & proposals, productivity & profitability metrics, lean manufacturing, process improvements, inventory accuracy, material costs, in/out sourcing initiatives, make vs. buy initiatives, freight/packaging costs, capital expenditures, logistics, sales/service agreements, etc. • Acquisitions/Joint Ventures: Assist on due diligence and integration strategies and execution. • Process Improvements: Assess and evaluate opportunities for improvement and optimization. • Risk Assessment/Compliance: Assess potential risks to annual and strategic business plan, and day-to-day operations. |

| BS required; MBA, CPA and/or CMA wanted. Seek 10+years of business experience that includes hands-on financial leadership in a manufacturing environment. Prior public accounting/SOX compliance experience a plus, Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills; must have a consultative (value-adding) style and entrepreneurial spirit. Must have the ability to communicate persuasively and effectively, and manage multiple priorities in an intense, deadline driven environment. Must be willing to travel 10-20% domestically (Northeast). |
