| |
| · Oversee Company’s accounting and Risk Control functions including the traditional middle and back office functionality of a trading and marketing entity beginning with the deal validation and valuation processes through customer invoicing and the monitoring of payables and receivables · Oversee the valuation, and monitoring of Company’s forward portfolio to ensure compliance with Company’s Risk Management Policy and all applicable derivative and hedge accounting standards and requirements including hedge documentation and effectiveness testing · Determine the appropriate accounting treatment and presentation of trading and non-trading type forward physical and financial transactions · Identify key business drivers and perform detailed analyses to support decision making and evaluate business unit performance · Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, accounting policy, forecasts, and present financial results to Company leadership · Oversee the accounting treatment of natural gas inventory; maintain inventory balances and compute and track any Lower of Cost or Market adjustments · Provide data to the respective Corporate Accounting, Treasury, and Tax Departments to aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosure requirements · Develop and monitor the appropriate internal controls and processes to ensure accurate, timely and informative financial reports · Provide leadership and development of middle and back office staff · Support the evaluation, negotiation, and integration of strategic initiatives · Proven ability to work cooperatively with other functions, operating companies to achieve Company objectives · Ability to evaluate processes and internal control structures to ensure that both are effective and efficient to support Company objectives and Sarbanes-Oxley certification requirements. · Own Company’s financial reporting systems, ensure that appropriate systems and related processes are developed or enhanced to support both current reporting and analysis requirements as well as support for future initiatives and strategy |

| · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business-related area required · A minimum of five years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including public company accounting and SEC reporting · 3+ years supervising management employees |

| · Master’s degree in Accounting or related area (MBA) preferred · Professional designations (CPA, CMA) preferred · Several years of experience in the derivative and hedge accounting area preferred |
