We are looking for Tax Manager with 3+ years of experience and a strong tax background to join a growing CPA firm. The Tax Manager will work on a variety of engagements and be relied upon to be part of the company’s team approach.
JOB DESCRIPTION• Prepare individual, trust, partnership, not-for-profit, S corporate, C corporate and estate income tax returns • Make recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax planning opportunities • Research and consult on various tax matters • Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements • Maintain strong relationships with clients and staff at all levels • Assist partner on proposals and business development • Attend professional development and training sessions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • CPA Certificate • 3+ years CPA firm experience • Versed in various accounting systems including QuickBooks and Lacerte • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced, results based team environment • Strong communication, customer service, leadership, recruiting, training, presentation, organizational, project management and PC skills *This company provides a competitive compensation package and opportunity for professional development.
