Great Lakeshore company looking for a sharp and professional controller that will report to the CFO. Managment experience is required for this role.


Support operations and the Accounting Group on monthly financial close process, to include: Review of P&Ls and accounting system to ensure appropriate accounting at the location level Analysis of monthly and YTD operations performance with Ops personnel to explain variances of actual results to expected results (Plan and/or Forecast) Oversee or conduct daily accounting functions like invoicing, JV generation and posting, accruals, etc. Act as liaison between field operations and corporate financial functions, including: Completion of requests for capital expenditures Review of contracts with vendors, services providers, and customers Participation in the development of Pricing for new and/or incremental business Support the Ops team and the Accounting Group in recurring financial reporting, including: Forecasting Business Plan development Conduct periodic audits of operations to ensure that control processes are being followed at the operations Train on-site Ops personnel in the use of financial systems and the various reports Work closely with Operations on special projects or continuous improvement process Support the implementation and tracking of margin improvement initiatives at the location level Participate in implementation of new business as relates to startup, capital purchases, cost tracking, and establishment of financial controls and procedures Manage and develop finance and finance support staff in assigned organization A/R management and collections


Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with an MBA strongly preferred. 6-8 yrs finance/business experience. Must be analytical, skillful at problem solving. Self-motivated and good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Must have good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with and influence senior level personnel both internal as well as external.
