Healthy, growing community bank in Northern Virginia looking for high energy, team player to join and lead a team as a part of their Loan Operations division.
JOB DESCRIPTIONESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Develops and maintains a business plan with monthly and annual production goals by: *Works with staff to achieve maximum output. *Establishes training criteria. *Participates in the implementation, record-keeping, and oversight related to policies. *Participates with assessment and development of processes. *Continually works to maintain proficiency in all functions related to consumer, real estate and commercial loan transactions. *Produces daily, monthly and quarterly reports as required by management. *Responsible in the daily accounting reconcilements and general ledger interface. 2.Promotes positive relationship management/customer satisfaction by: *Delivers superior personal service to customers within and outside the bank. *Solves problems/issues rapidly. *Works with staff to promote positive customer service behavior. *Insures that accurate boarding and maintenance are completed satisfactorily and timely. 3.Complies with established policies and procedures/quality standards by: *Prudently reviews loans for proper credit authority which would follow the Bank's Credit Policy. *Complies with all regulatory and Bank compliance procedures and policies. *Co-ordinates in regulator exams, external audits and internal reviews as applicable. 4.Responsible for complying with the various rules, regulations, policies and ethical standards governing the financial services industry including compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. 5.Performs other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES *Management responsibility includes assigning and controlling work, and making recommendations on the hiring and firing, annual reviews and salary/bonus recommendations of Loan Operations Specialists.
*Associates Degree or equivalent training *Experience with FIS / Horizon preferred
*Strong operational skills *Working knowledge of compliance regulations *Strong interpersonal and communication skills
