| This position is responsible for analysis, planning and forecasting results for US Products and US Manufacturing Operations. The position supports a VP of Manufacturing and his US plants with planning/reporting and analysis. This position interfaces with senior manufacturing operations management, plant controllers, manufacturing plant personnel, and other cross-functional partners. Key focus areas include mfg variations, capital spending, other cost of sales, manufacturing staff support, balance sheet/cash flow and standard cost analysis. Key responsibilities include: •Reporting monthly results to Manufacturing VP’s (P&L, Manufacturing Variations, Cash flow, and key drivers) •Coordinating with plants to create plan/forecast •Reviewing capital project requests •Building presentation packages for Sr. Management •Projects requiring financial analysis to provide recommendations in support of the overall organization’s strategies •Support for integration of future acquisitions •Process improvement activities •Self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities. •Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills. •Strong technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment. •Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally. •Working knowledge of PC applications (ie. Excel/Access). •Strong analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting. •Detail oriented. •Ability to manage tasks concurrently •Owns career and is accountable for managing own development.
